More than two months after general elections, Nepal finally has a new prime minister.
Sushil Koirala is head of the centrist Nepali Congress party, which secured the most seats in the country’s Constituent Assembly after the November poll. With the support of the communist UML party, he managed to secure 405 votes while 148 lawmakers opposed his candidacy.
