Sandeep Lamichhane became the first Nepali player to get 1 million followers on Facebook

Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane's official Facebook page has crossed 1 million followers. His page named 'Sandeep Lamichhane' crossed this figure only on Wednesday.

He has been sharing sports related activities and personal things from that page. Leg-spinner Lamichhane, who is also the former captain of the Nepali National Cricket team, has played major T-20 matches around the world, including Indian Premier League, Big Bash League, Pakistan Super League.

Now, the rape case against Lamichhane is pending in Patan High Court. Earlier, the Kathmandu District Court convicted Lamichhane and sentenced him to eight years in prison.
